Big wahala happen for Ogwashi-Uku town inside Delta State! Some bad people wey dem suspect say na child thief, carry four small pikin go disappear on Sunday. The pikin dem na Ebube and Miracle, two siblings, and then Chimanda and Excel from another family. Dem say dem carry the pikin dem from Umuokwe area of the town. This news shock everybody for the town, and people dey look face for three women wey just come rent house for the area.
People wey live for the place, but no want make dem call their name, say the women just rent the house and not even stay long, na just few days before the pikin dem disappear. Dem say one of the women tell the small pikin dem say she wan buy biscuit for dem for shop near their house, and na that time the pikin dem follow her.
The people say the last time anybody see the pikin dem, dem dey go towards the house where the women dey stay. When the pikin dem no come back house, their family and neighbors start to dey worry.
When people try to find the pikin dem, dem go the house where the women been dey stay, but the house don empty like groundnut shell. The women and the four pikin dem no dey anywhere.
The police talk-person for Delta State, SP Bright Edafe, confirm say the thing happen true-true and say police dey do investigation already. He say dem don catch the woman wey be the landlady of the house where the bad women been stay, and she dey inside police hand now.
Edafe say the most worrying part be say dem no get any information about the women, like their name, phone number, or any ID card. He say dem just come rent the house and after three days, dem vanish with the four pikin dem.
The police talk-person vex for the landlady say she no collect any important information about the people wey rent her house before she give dem the place. He say the landlady behavior dey very suspicious.
Edafe add say dem arrest the landlady because she no do her job well and the way she do business with the people wey rent her house dey make dem suspect her.
As police and the community people dey continue to look for the missing pikin dem, the residents dey beg the police to try harder to find the pikin dem and catch the bad people wey do this thing. This matter show how pikin dem no dey safe and how landlords need to dey more careful when dem wan give people house to rent for the community.
