Oya now, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) for Abia State say dem don gather their people well well for this Easter holiday. Dem say about 500 of their staff, plus 300 special marshalls, and plenty patrol vehicles go dey all over Abia State road.
The big oga for FRSC for Abia, CC Ngozi Ezeoma, talk say dem go shine their eyes well well for areas wey dey dangerous and places wey accident dey happen plenty. Their main job na to stop accident and make sure people no die for road.
She yarn say dem go dey monitor all the big roads for the state and dem go catch anybody wey no follow road rules. She even say mobile court go dey work throughout the Easter period to judge people wey do anyhow for road so that others go learn.
Madam Ezeoma explain say because plenty people and motor go dey move around for Easter, the chance for accident dey high, and that's why dem dey take am serious.
She warn all drivers make dem no drink and drive, no dey use phone when dem dey drive, no carry overload, and make dem no dey speed anyhow. She also beg transport union leaders, church and mosque oga dem, and community leaders to help FRSC talk to their people about how to use road well.
Finally, she drop phone numbers for Abia people to call if anything happen for road wey need FRSC help. So make everybody drive careful this Easter o!
