Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Taskforce don go raid Gowon Estate and Egbeda area on Tuesday, and dem catch twenty pipu wey dey sell ogogoro and other bad bad things. Dem also collect money wey dem believe say na from the bad business.
The taskforce people go many place wey dem know say bad things dey happen, like junction for 31 Road, Wole Omo-Osho and Idoani Streets inside Gowon Estate, and also Egbeda market wey dey near Egbeda-Idimu Road.
Ministry of Environment and Water Resources talk say dem even scatter all the small small shops wey dey Idoani Street junction. Dem say before, intelligence people don tell dem say na inside those shops the bad pipu dey hide and sell their bad things.
The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, use his X handle on Wednesday to praise the taskforce work and warn all the bad pipu wey dey use selling for road side as cover.
He say dem don scatter all the hiding place for Gowon Estate and Egbeda wey dem dey use sell bad drugs. He say dem catch twenty pipu and collect different kind of bad things and money. He warn say Lagos State no go allow those kind bad place again.
Wahab say government serious to clean up everywhere and make sure say all the bad things wey dey put people for danger go comot for Lagos State.
He say dem no go tolerate any bad bad business for Lagos. He say government go continue to make sure Lagos safe for all good citizens.
The taskforce people say dem go carry all the pipu wey dem catch go court.
The government people also promise say dem go continue to do this kind work so that everywhere for Lagos go dey safe and the bad pipu wey dey use small small shops as cover no go get chance again.
Wahab tell all Lagos people to help government by telling them if dem see any suspicious thing.
