Lawyer for that young boy, Quadri Yusuf Alabi, who be 17-year-old supporter of the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, Effiong Inibehe, don talk say police must pay him one hundred million naira as money wey go cover wetin happen to am.
Reports say dem don free Quadri from that armed robbery case on Thursday.
The lawyer, Inibehe, yarn for statement say dem free Peter Obi supporter because the head lawyer for Lagos State, Babajide Martins, say no evidence dey show say Quadri do the crime.
Inibehe say the magistrate, A.O. Olorunfemi, confirm say the DPP talk say no proof dey to say Quadri do armed robbery.
He say the DPP advice say dem no suppose carry Quadri go court. So, the magistrate say make dem free am, and dem free am like that.
The lawyer praise the DPP for standing by the truth.
But Inibehe still dey vex say police must investigate all the officers wey put Quadri for prison.
He say the Commissioner of Police for Lagos and the Inspector General of Police must remove the Oga of Amukoko Police Station and try am for court with the officer wey investigate the case, Inspector Odigbe Samuel, and all other police wey join hand to frame up the small boy for armed robbery because some bad "Area Boys" tell dem to do so.
Inibehe demand say Nigeria Police Force must pay Quadri one hundred million naira as compensation.
He also say police must beg Quadri for public.
The lawyer warn say if police no do all these things quick quick, dem go carry the matter go court.
Inibehe say Quadri case show how corruption, bad behavior, and injustice full inside Nigeria Police Force.
He add say plenty other Quadri dey suffer for prison across Nigeria because police dey anyhow, no dey follow law, and nobody dey hold dem accountable, and the justice system weak.
