Barrister Taiwo Odumosu, the lawyer wey bin dey represent the family of the late singer, Mohbad, don come out say make everybody know say he no get anything to do with the GoFundMe account wey dem open to find out wetin kill the singer.
For one statement wey he send to PUNCH Metro on Wednesday, Odumosu still say he no follow for any money matter concerning the toxicology test wey dem do for Mohbad.
According to him, the family handle the talk about money and pay the pathologist themselves.
He add say all the payment go straight to the pathologist, and he no get connection with the GoFundMe account wey dem open for Mohbad matter.
Odumosu say: "No time any payment pass through me or my office. Mr. Famuyiwa pay the pathologist directly. I want make everybody know clear say I no sabi anything about the GoFundMe Account: I no dey in charge and I no be signatory to the GoFundMe account wey dem create for Mohbad cause."
Odumosu still reveal say one laboratory for outside Naija do the toxicology test for free.
He explain say: "For one meeting wey Mr. Famuyiwa and me attend, the pathologist tell us say the European laboratory wey do the toxicology test do am for free. So, the family suppose to tell the public how dem take manage the remaining money for the GoFundMe account."
Odumosu say he dey vex say people dey spread wrong information and spoil his name and the forensic pathologist name because of Mohbad case.
He talk say: "The pathologist wey dey involved show strong heart by agreeing to handle the case, because plenty of his colleagues no want touch am because the matter dey sensitive and popular."
He still say: "E important to say clear say the post-mortem examination or toxicology process no spoil at all."
Odumosu say: "The first person wey contact us, Mr. Famuyiwa Ayodele, reach out to us to help find qualified pathologist for the second autopsy and toxicology analysis. Mr. Famuyiwa talk about the money and make arrangement with the pathologist himself."
As he dey talk, he ask question about the honesty of people wey say dem really want justice for Mohbad.
