Oga Pat Utomi, that big professor wey sabi book well well about how Naija money and politics suppose be, don talk say he wan gather plenty Naija people, like over seven million of naija people, to come meet for Abuja. He say the thing na "Freedom Converge," meaning everybody go gather there dey stay put until Naija people get their freedom back for real.
As he dey yarn on his Tuesday Tonic talk, Utomi paint picture wey no sweet at all about how Naija politics and life dey go. He say the big problem wey we dey face na because our leaders don mess up big time. He talk say some small group of people don capture the country, the rules no strong again, and the people wey dey lead na their own pocket dem dey look after.
Utomi even mention wetin Pastor Tunde Bakare talk recently about how things dey scatter for Naija. Bakare talk say some people don grab power tight, court no too get mouth again, and the people wey dey make law now (National Assembly) no dey do anything useful.
But Utomi say even though all those things na problem, the main root of the matter dey deeper. He say the big-big people for Naija don fail us. Since way back when Naija just start, the leaders suppose dey think about how the whole country go better, but instead, na their own belly dem dey fill.

Utomi vex say when these leaders get chance, the long-term good of all Naija people no dey enter their head. He say na that one be the real tragedy for Naija.
So, Utomi say before dem carry all those people go Abuja, dem need to do small teaching for everybody for their area. He say dem go spend like one or two weeks dey tell people how country suppose take care of all its citizens. Dem go talk about good leadership wey include everybody and how the economy suppose change for good.
Utomi also blast the people wey dey work for newspaper and radio, say dem too don fall hand. He say poverty and the big men don buy their mouth.
He say, "Make we no lie, Naija media don fail us badly. Some of them dey try, but dem easy to catch."
Utomi no even happy with how dem dey manage our money now. He say dem too focus on "stabilization" instead of real development.
He say the people in charge just dey obsessed with "stabilisation," meaning dem just dey try to make things look calm, instead of focusing on real development that will make life better for everybody.
