Police and Anambra vigilante dem go raid one uncompleted building for Isu village, Oba on Wednesday evening. Dem catch six people wey dey use sick people for street begging business. The names of the people wey dem catch na Doris Basil (28), Peter Ezedike (38), Susan Monday (27), Ogechi Okoro (27), Solomon Sunday (29), and Kenneth Achi (29). Dem catch dem around 6:30 p.m.
Police talk-talk person for Anambra State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, say dem find six phone and N82,400 wey be different different money like N50, N100, and N200. Dem also find four sick people wey dey suffer. One dey sick for brain, another one for breast, and others get serious sickness. Dem give the sick people first aid quick quick and dem dey plan how dem go get proper doctor care and go back to their family.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, say he no happy at all say people dey use weak people make money for themselves. He say wetin dem do dey against Section 419 of Nigeria Criminal Code, wey say if you use trick collect something from person, you don do big crime wey fit put you inside prison for three years.
CP Orutugu say dem go call the family of the sick people to ask dem question if dem know anything about wetin happen or if dem no take care of their people well. Police say as dem finish investigate, dem go carry all the people wey dem catch go court.
